"The Business Bishop" is birthed out of Revelations 11:15-18 “Then the seventh angel sounded: And there were loud voices in heaven, saying, “The kingdoms of this world have become the kingdoms of our Lord and of His Christ, and He shall reign forever and ever!” And the twenty-four elders who sat before God on their thrones fell on their faces and worshiped God, saying: “ We give You thanks, O Lord God Almighty, The One who is and who was and who is to come, Because You have taken Your great power and reigned. The nations were angry, and Your wrath has come, And the time of the dead, that they should be judged, And that You should reward Your servants the prophets and the saints, And those who fear Your name, small and great, And should destroy those who destroy the earth.”
• Bishop Bates " The Business Bishop" had an early exposure to business. At a very young age he was instrumental in negotiating contracts for the World Famous and Greatest Gospel Singer Rev. Cleophus Robinson. From there he led a career in the banking and finance industry by having his own financial consulting firm and being on the Board of Directors of Bank. His financial background allowed him to develop an inner city mini mall and community center. After which
• his real estate development experience allowed him to be on the National Board of the Southern Leadership Conference where he implemented business and economic development strategies. He has consulted churches nationwide in their business ministry and has been a founder along with other major Christian Businessmen to assist in creating a Business Ministry for congregations worldwide!
